Lever, Inc. is seeking a Principal System Architect - Industrial Sensors based in France to lead system-level architecture and craft differentiated sensor solutions aligned with customer needs and market trends.

You will drive technology roadmaps, engage with customers and internal teams, and translate complex requirements into scalable architectures and business value, enabling growth across global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of direct experience in industrial sensors.
• Strong knowledge of sensor technologies and system-level integration.
• Experience working with customer engineering teams to develop technical solutions.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to create organizational alignment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with market-driven product strategy and platform development.
• Ability to lead initiatives and drive execution in a cross-functional environment.
• Willingness to travel globally approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-level technical leadership connecting customer requirements, market intelligence, engineering capabilities, and business strategy.
• Translate market, application, and customer requirements into product specifications, system architectures, and development priorities.
• Advise customers on system-level trade-offs to optimize performance, reliability, cost, and ease of integration.
• Drive early customer engagement and design-in activities with engineering teams and technical decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver application-focused training for sales, field applications engineering, marketing, and engineering teams.
• Represent the organization as a thought leader through industry forums, trade shows, technical publications, and digital channels.
• Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, growth drivers, and emerging opportunities.
• Identify technology gaps and strategic opportunities informing future investments.
• Shape mid- and long-term roadmaps based on customer, market, and application insights.
• Partner with Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Marketing to define product strategies and roadmaps.
