Lead Maintenance Trades Specialist - HVAC is based at Atrium Health Mercy in Charlotte, NC. This senior role performs preventive maintenance and complex repairs on facility systems, including building and life‑safety infrastructure, and oversees building automation systems to improve efficiency.

The position requires 5+ years of related experience, advanced technical training, a valid driver’s license and ongoing certifications, plus strong communication skills and the ability to read blueprints

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Advanced training beyond High School that includes technical training.
• Valid Driver’s License and CEU-gleaned certifications or renewal requirements.
• Clear ability to read blueprints and Life Safety drawings.

Responsabilités

• Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems.
• Diagnoses and implements complex repairs for multiple Utility System, Infrastructure and Life Safety Systems.
• Installs/replace and maintains building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and controls systems.
• Operates, monitors and maintains advanced utility equipment and building automation systems.
• Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
• Reads and updates blueprints, Life Safety drawings and manuals for accurate task completion.
• Interfaces with vendors and contractors to ensure safe interfacing and tie‑in.
• Coordinates, schedules and ensures testing, calibrations and maintenance records.
