The Maintenance Engineer – HVAC Test Laboratory (Electrical & Mechanical Facilities) is a full‑time, onsite position located at Carrier‑Charlotte (9701 Old Statesville Road, Charlotte, NC 28269), operating on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with emergency on‑call availability as needed.
This role is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC test rigs, dynamic lab infrastructure, and low‑to‑medium voltage electrical distribution systems to ensure maximum testing uptime. The engineer will collaborate closely with test supervisors to support setup readiness, troubleshoot instrumentation and data acquisition systems, and lead electrical fault diagnoses. Additionally, the position drives continuous improvement through root cause analysis, manages equipment safety compliance, and coordinates with external vendors for critical calibration and repairs.
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 – $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Thisposition may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
