The State of Delaware is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to install, repair, replace and maintain HVAC/R systems across facilities. The role requires Delaware Master HVACR license or equivalent, universal CFC certification, and hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, and cost estimation.

Ideal candidates will supervise technicians, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with federal and ASHRAE standards, with a valid driver's license and willingness to work across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Delaware Master HVACR license or equivalent from another state.
• Universal CFC certification.
• Six months experience in HVAC/R installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Six months experience in estimating cost, time and materials for projects.
• Knowledge of interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of staff supervision or lead worker experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsabilités

• Identify and diagnose malfunctioning HVAC/R systems and related components.
• Repair and replace systems to comply with federal/state standards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on complex HVAC/R systems and determine repairs.
• Oversee work of mechanics or apprentices in maintenance and servicing.
• Diagram modifications to HVAC/R control systems and interpret blueprints.
• Estimate time and materials for repair and replacement projects.
• Maintain records of work performed and refrigerant usage as required by law.
