Job summary

Flexport in Paris is seeking a Senior Global Operations Associate specialized in Air freight. You will work with our regional account teams, carriers, and customers to move shipments on time and within budget, while building scalable processes.

The role requires 3+ years in freight forwarding with air export, fluent French and English, and a bias for problem-solving and cost-conscious operations. You will contribute to a fast-paced, regulated industry with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or forwarding agent training.
• 3+ years of freight forwarding experience with direct Air export.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage a large volume of tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication; teamwork and relationship building.
• Compliance-first attitude for a heavily regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Be the frontline ensuring on-time shipments and handling exceptions.
• Meet internal KPIs and SLAs demonstrating quality delivery.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Coordinate with internal/external partners (steamship lines, air carriers, warehouses, etc.).
• Execute end-to-end movement of freight within a regional network (imports/exports).
• Assist shipments managed by partners to drive partner autonomy.
