Jobtailor in Paris is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the group’s general accounting, bank reconciliations, and monthly to year-end closings. You will prepare tax filings and financial statements in coordination with the manager, and help enhance accounting procedures to ensure legal compliance.

The role requires strong French accounting standards knowledge and 5+ years’ experience as a company accountant or 3+ years in an accounting firm, with proficiency in Oracle

Qualifications

• Minimum Bac+2/3 in accounting/finance or management.
• 5 years' experience as a company accountant or 3 years in an accounting firm.
• Proficient with IT tools and accounting software (Oracle NetSuite).
• Knowledge of the services sector; experience in a communications agency is a plus.
• Proficient in French accounting standards (PCG, ANC 2022) and tax regulations.
• Accuracy, organization, autonomy and confidentiality.
• Adaptability, team spirit and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the general accounting for the group's entities (bank, various operations, fixed assets, foreign exchange differences, exceptional items, etc.).
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closings (account reconciliations and matching, adjustments, provisions, month-end journal entries).
• Prepare tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, TVS, CVAE, etc.).
• Prepare financial statements and tax packages in coordination with the manager.
• Enter bank transactions, perform bank reconciliations, review trial balance/general ledger.
• Contribute to improving accounting procedures and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
