Commonwealth War Graves Commission in France seeks a Senior Gardener Caretaker to lead a mobile team of gardeners, maintain cemeteries and memorials, and uphold CWGC standards across a defined area. The role blends day-to-day supervision with hands-on horticulture.

Candidates should have autonomous horticultural experience, MS Office literacy, a valid B driving licence, and strong organisation. Permanent contract, 35 hours per week, with RTT and a 13th-month benefit after seniority.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in manual activities of the team.
• Assists in identifying maintenance work to maintain excellence.
• Ensures work programme follows CWGC standards.
• Contributes to team development and performance assessment.
• Notifies HG/SHG of defects and ongoing projects.
• Assists in annual renovation programme planning.
• Represents CWGC at external meetings or ceremonies when required.
• Informs and guides visitors.
• Supports allocation of team work and integration of new gardeners.
• Adheres to health and safety rules.
