Job summary

Infinite Orbits in Toulouse is seeking a hands-on Flight Software Lead for its Computer Vision & AI team. You will drive the C/C++ vision stack from flight- software-compatible to flight-ready, building the process that makes shipping it fast and safe.

You will define flight-grade standards, set release gates, and mentor engineers while coordinating with the Flight Software and FPGA teams to integrate CV with the platform and hardware under strict mission constraints.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering.
• Experience deploying C/C++ on edge hardware in autonomous systems (spacecraft, drones, autonomous vehicles, robotics).
• Knowledge of flight-grade software standards and qualification frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define what "flight-grade" means for AI-driven CV at Infinite Orbits and write requirements.
• Build automated CI/CD tests: MISRA C/C++ compliance, safe numerics, static analysis, memory safety, coverage and timing checks.
• Design an automated delivery pipeline for the CV stack and ensure stable, versioned builds for the Flight Software team.
• Own the flight architecture and memory management for deterministic, resource-constrained targets.
• Bridge CV with the platform and hardware, defining interfaces with Flight Software and subsystems.
