sunday is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to shape our financial future. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, partnering with the Head of Finance and leadership to drive data-driven decisions across a fast-growing fintech scale-up.

In this role, you will support fundraising efforts, coordinate investor relations materials, and develop financial models to guide strategic initiatives. Fluency in English and French is required, with a hybrid office presence in Paris.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or strategic finance in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Previous FinTech experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for financial modelling.
• Fluency in English and French.

About the Role

The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a central role in shaping the financial future of sunday. You’ll own core financial planning & analysis processes, from budgeting and forecasting to tracking performance against key metrics. You’ll act as a strategic partner to the Head of Finance and leadership team, supporting fundraising, investor relations, providing data-driven insights, and driving forward key financial initiatives. Financial planning & analysis

• Lead sunday's budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Develop, maintain, and improve financial models that support business decisions.
• Monitor performance against budget and provide actionable insights and variance analysis.

Strategic finance & investor relations

• Support fundraising efforts by refining the equity story, preparing investor-facing materials, and coordinating with investors.
• Partner with the Head of Finance on board presentations, KPI reporting, and shareholder updates.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.

Ad-hoc analysis & decision support

• Deliver deep-dive analyses on growth, unit economics, pricing, and product performance.
• Prepare business cases for new initiatives and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.
• Track and refine company-wide financial KPIs, ensuring alignment with sunday's strategic goals.

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work closely with leadership and department heads across Sales, Marketing, Field Operations, and People.
• Translate strategy into numbers, and numbers into clear strategic insights.
• Act as a thought partner to teams, helping them understand financial implications and optimize resource allocation.

Operational excellence

• Build scalable financial processes and tools as sunday expands across multiple markets.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of financial data, reporting, and analysis.

About You

• A Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or strategic finance, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Previous experience in FinTech is a strong plus.
• Proven analytical and financial modelling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial insights into clear and actionable messages for different audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of ownership.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• A proactive and solutions-driven mindset, with a willingness to take initiative and go beyond expectations.
• Fluency in English and French.
