Qualifications

Experience underwriting Financial Lines products (Management Liability and/or Financial Institutions) for major accounts.
Proven ability to influence and negotiate, especially for referrals and approvals.
Track record working with top brokers and major clients.
Results-driven with independent decision-making and proactive approach.
Recognized as an experienced professional in the market.
Legal or financial academic background with insurance expertise preferred.
Strong understanding of the insurance market and competitors.

Responsabilités

Underwrite and manage a portfolio of major accounts with adherence to guidelines.
Aim for quotes and hit rates for new business in major/complex accounts.
Collaborate with other lines of business and sales teams to target key accounts.
Maintain a robust new business pipeline and renewals strategy for retention and rates.
Navigate referral processes with underwriting leadership to obtain approvals.
Document underwriting rationale for each account clearly.
