Morgan Stanley in Paris is seeking a Senior Quantitative Valuation Model Reviewer to join the Equities Model Control team. The role focuses on review and assessment of complex mathematical models used for valuations of exotic derivatives and other financial instruments, supporting front office quants and risk teams.

As a Vice President, you will manage a medium-sized team, develop talent, and translate firm-wide goals into actionable objectives while upholding the firm's values and commitments

Qualifications

• Strong academics in finance or a quantitative discipline such as financial engineering, mathematics, physics, engineering or other technical field.
• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in quantitative financial field, preferably in Equities.
• Demonstrated experience in quantitative modelling of financial markets and products.
• Proven ability to develop strong internal client relationships and exceptional communication skills.
• Experience managing a medium sized team of 4-5 people.

Responsabilités

• Use quantitative techniques and market intuition to perform analysis on often novel or unconventional trades.
• Work with trading and front office quants and risk department regularly on marking methodologies and model framework.
• Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm.
• Use your financial market and mathematical knowledge to review valuation and risk models while working closely with model developers.
• Analyze pricing factors in complex financial products and comprehend market movements' impact on the portfolio and firm.
• Manage, attract, develop and retain talent for team within Finance while creating an inclusive environment; translate Firmwide goals into actionable goals for department/function.
• Act as a role model and culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards.
