Harmattan AI in France is seeking an Embedded Electrical Engineer to own compute module designs from architecture through fabrication, taking boards from prototype to flight-ready hardware. You will work on SoMs, baseboards, PCIe, 10 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.x, and MIPI, while also handling power trees and cross-functional collaboration with software, mechanical, and flight-qualification teams.

A MSc (or PhD) and 5+ years in embedded hardware, with strong signal integrity and hands-on bring-up, are

Qualifications

5+ years in embedded hardware design, from spec to production.
MSc in electrical/computer engineering; PhD is a plus.
High-speed design experience with PCIe, Ethernet, USB3.x, MIPI and signal integrity.
Proficient with Altium and electronics CAD tools.
Experience with fabrication/assembly partners and production bring-up.

Responsabilités

Board design of SoMs, baseboards, and test boards.
Lead high-speed digital design including PCIe, 10 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.x, MIPI.
Design power trees, sequencing, and verify power-up/down.
Lead design reviews from block diagrams to fabrication release.
Coordinate with PCB/EMS partners on stack-up and cost trade-offs.
Define verification tests, troubleshoot and characterize boards for qualification.
Collaborate with embedded software, mechanical, and flight-validation teams.
