Gama seeks a Senior Embedded Electrical Engineer to define the embedded software architecture and develop MCU-based electronics for a satellite power system. You will coordinate subsystems from control loops to telemetry, delivering robust real-time software for space applications with emphasis on BMS, MPPT and power conversion.
Requirements include a MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 5+ years of hands-on embedded control experience, plus strong C or Rust skills and English
Formación
- MSc or equivalent in electrical engineering / embedded systems with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
- Proficient in Embedded C or Rust for real-time control on DSP/MCU.
- Experience designing software architectures for multi-subsystem embedded systems.
Responsabilidades
- Define and implement the embedded software architecture of the power system: software structure and scheduling, interactions between subsystems, and interfaces with the spacecraft.
- Implement digital control on DSP/MCU platforms: control loops, measurements, signal processing, and MPPT algorithms.
- Develop system-level embedded functions: BMS, battery charging strategies, telemetry, and spacecraft communication.
- Design MCU‑based electronics: MCU selection, schematics, peripherals, and hardware/software integration.
- Build, bring up, and validate prototypes in the lab: functional testing and hardware/software integration.
