Infinite Orbits PTE Ltd. in Toulouse seeks an experienced Electrical Architect to lead the satellite's electrical architecture, focusing on protection, EMC, ESD, and grounding.

You will ensure end-to-end electrical consistency across programs in close interface with system architecture and other subsystems. The role requires a Master’s in power electronics or aerospace-grade electrical engineering, 5+ years in space electrical architecture, and expertise in EMC/ESD.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Master's level / Bac+5) in power electronics, electrical engineering, EMC, or aerospace, or equivalent; PhD appreciated.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in space electrical architecture, with proven expertise in EMC, ESD, and grounding & bonding.
• Experience on at least one satellite mission completed from end to end.
• Proficiency in applicable ECSS standards (EMC, ESD, grounding and bonding).
• Experience in conducting equipment electrical compatibility reviews and analyzing ICDs.
• Experience in EMC, ESD, and ground continuity testing at both equipment and system levels during AIT campaigns.
• Solid background in power electronics and space electrical distribution.
• Understanding of space environment effects on electrical systems (electrostatic charging, radiation, derating).
• Ability to lead cross-functional topics and interact with suppliers and partners.
• Excellent technical communication skills, both oral and written, in professional English.
• Nationality: French nationality is mandatory due to project requirements.

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain the overall electrical architecture of the satellite (generation, storage, distribution, protection).
• Establish power budgets and distribution architectures.
• Define electrical protection requirements and fault tolerance strategies.
• Guarantee energy availability under LEOP, safe mode and eclipses.
• Define and maintain grounding and bonding scheme; develop ESD protection plan.
• Define EMC requirements and margins; lead interface reviews with suppliers.
• Develop EMC/ESD/grounding test plans and troubleshoot anomalies.
• Coordinate architecture choices with mechanical, thermal, avionics, flight software, RF and computer vision teams.
