CT19, a medical technology start-up, seeks a hands-on Senior/Lead Analog Electronics & RF Engineer in Paris to own complex analogue and RF projects from design through integration.

You will drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to a practical, equity-backed growth path as the team scales.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in analogue electronics, RF electronics and low-noise systems.
  • Experience delivering complex hardware projects independently and end-to-end.
  • Proficiency in PCB design, EMI management, shielding and grounding.
  • Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Python for analysis, modeling or test automation.

Responsabilités

  • Design, simulate, build and validate analogue and RF electronic systems.
  • Lead technical projects from concept through testing and delivery.
  • Develop RF coils, transmit/receive chains and electromagnetic systems.
  • Design PCB schematics and layouts, including cabling, shielding and grounding.
  • Measure and troubleshoot noise, transfer functions and signal integrity issues.
  • Characterise components using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and vector network analysers.
  • Apply research and physics to engineering challenges.
  • Document findings and provide recommendations for system integration.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and mentor other engineers.

Description du poste

A medical technology start-up developing quantum next-generation MRI systems is seeking a hands-on Senior or Lead Analog Electronics & RF Engineer.

You will take ownership of complex analogue and RF projects from research and design through simulation, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting and system integration. The role requires strong technical independence, practical problem-solving and an understanding of how electronics decisions affect the wider system.

Depending on experience, the position may develop into technical leadership or team management, while remaining hands-on.

Location: Paris, France

Salary: Highly Dependant on experience + Benefits package including Equity

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, simulate, build and validate analogue and RF electronic systems.
  • Lead technical projects from initial concept through testing and delivery.
  • Develop and optimise RF coils, transmit/receive chains and electromagnetic systems.
  • Design PCB schematics and layouts, including cabling, shielding and grounding.
  • Measure and troubleshoot electronic noise, transfer functions and signal integrity issues.
  • Characterise components and systems using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and vector network analysers.
  • Apply relevant research and physics principles to practical engineering challenges.
  • Document findings and provide clear recommendations for system integration.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and, where appropriate, mentor other engineers.
Skills and Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in analogue electronics, RF electronics and low-noise systems.
  • Solid understanding of electromagnetic principles and signal acquisition chains.
  • Experience delivering complex hardware projects independently and end-to-end.
  • Practical knowledge of PCB design, EMI management, shielding and grounding.
  • Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Proficiency in Python for analysis, modelling or test automation.
  • Strong communication, planning and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

A strong background in physics, electrical engineering or electronics is required. An advanced engineering degree, PhD or equivalent industry experience would be suitable.

MRI / Medical Imaging experience is highly desirable. Relevant backgrounds may also include NMR, RF instrumentation, radio astronomy, accelerator systems or quantum hardware, provided they include significant analogue/RF and experimental experience.
