Keysight Technologies seeks an RF Solution Engineer in Lyon to provide RF, microwave and millimeter-wave test expertise. You will architect RF solutions, define measurement strategies, and support deployment of Keysight solutions for customers in the Grenoble area.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering with 5–8 years’ experience in RF/test, hands-on VNA and signal equipment, and fluency in English and French. On-site position with customer and training duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering required; Master’s preferred with RF/MWfocus.
• 5–8 years of test & measurement or RF system validation experience.
• Strong hands-on with VNA, signal/spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Proven RF system understanding, calibration methods and test techniques.
• Automation/data processing know-how in Python, MATLAB, C#, or C/C++.

• Collaborate with sales, industry experts, and R&D to architect RF solutions.
• Lead customer engagements from a technical engineering standpoint.
• Define and execute measurement setups, demos, and technical proposals.
• Support delivery: instrument configuration, automation workflows, verification tests, and training.

Keysight is seeking an RF Solution Engineer to provide technical expertise in RF, microwave and millimeter‑wave test and measurement. The role focuses on understanding customer technical requirements, defining measurement strategies, configuring advanced instrumentation, and supporting deployment of Keysight solutions.

This position is based out of our office in Lyon - main coverage of the Grenoble area, South‑East of France.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales, industry experts, and R&D to architect solutions for complex RF challenges.
• Lead customer engagements from a technical engineering standpoint.
• Define and execute measurement setups, demos, and technical proposals.
• Support delivery: instrument configuration, automation workflows, verification tests, and user training.
• Conduct technical sessions (workshops, seminars, measurements) and occasionally produce concise technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering required; Master’s preferred (RF/MW/mmW focus).
• 5–8 years experience in test & measurement or RF system validation.
• Strong hands‑on experience with VNA, signal/spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Solid understanding of RF systems, impairments, calibration methods and test techniques.
• Practical knowledge of Python, MATLAB, C#, or C/C++ for automation and data processing.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineering audiences.
• Proficiency in English and French.
