g2 Recruitment is seeking a Senior eBOP Engineer to lead electrical systems design and modernization for hydro power retrofit projects across a global footprint. You will evaluate legacy infrastructure, engineer modern replacements, and ensure safe, reliable operations aligned with contract requirements and applicable standards.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electrical engineering with 5+ years in power plant installation and commissioning, and strong knowledge of grid interconnection
Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years in power plant installation and commissioning.
- Experience in refurbishment projects is preferred.
- Proven knowledge of grid interconnection standards, arc flash analysis, and protective relay coordination studies.
Responsabilités
- Lead electrical systems design, integration and modernization for hydro power retrofit projects.
- Develop technical scope-of-work documents for replacement or modernization of electrical systems.
- Manage interfaces between electrical systems and mechanical/civil disciplines; oversee commissioning, testing and startup of retrofitted systems.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and field support during installation to minimize downtime.
- Ensure safety, cybersecurity, and compliance with environmental and utility-grid interconnect standards.
