Job summary

Swan is seeking a Head of Internal Control & Operational Risk to lead the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of its risk management and second-line permanent control frameworks.

Reporting to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, you will ensure that Swan identifies, assesses, monitors and manages material risks while leading the Internal Control team and providing independent challenge to the first line of defence.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in internal control, enterprise or operational risk management, audit, or a second-line control function.
• Ability to provide detailed analysis, challenge management, and develop risk indicators.
• Fluent in French and English, with strong communication skills for regulators, boards and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Swan's operational risk framework and permanent control, maintaining policies and governance standards.
• Coordinate risk mapping and control self-assessments across France and European branches.
• Define incident and loss frameworks, analyze root causes, and drive remediation and improvements.
• Oversee group-wide permanent control, challenge first-line risk owners, and report to CRCO and governance bodies.
• Develop a risk-based control plan and dashboards covering appetite, KRIs, and remediation progress.
