Job summary

Kandou invites a Digital Design Engineer to join our team in Lausanne (St-Sulpice), Switzerland. You will design high-speed digital circuits, interface specs, and participate in RTL coding, DFT basics, and IP verification, collaborating with verification and analog/mixed-signal teams to meet ultra-low latency and high bandwidth targets.

You’ll work on very high-speed digital blocks, support post-silicon bring-up, and interact with customers on requirements and product delivery, using Cadence

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in E.E., Communications or related field is required
• Experience in digital high-speed circuits in deep-submicron CMOS technologies
• Proven experience in complex digital design and verification of data processing systems
• Exposure to regulation systems (config, calibration, dynamic adaptation) is valued
• Experience with multi-Gigabit transceivers and PCIe/USB4 knowledge is desirable

Responsibilities

• Concept definition and analog-to-digital interface specification
• RTL design with basic DFT and IP verification
• Logic synthesis and timing analysis
• Collaborate with verification, analog/mixed-signal designers
• Develop block-level specifications for very high-speed digital circuits
• Support post-silicon lab bring-up, debug, characterization and productization
• Understand high-speed serial protocols (USB4, PCIe)
• Customer interaction on requirements and performance results
• IP and chip-level integration and workload management
