Kandou is redefining the economics of AI infrastructure and seeks a Characterization Lead based in Lausanne to own performance characterization of Zinal retimer silicon and the Randa AEC channel, a principal/senior staff IC role with hands-on leadership.

You will work with silicon, signal integrity and validation teams, set datasheet limits and guard-bands, and coordinate with partners in Taiwan to ensure qualification and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 10 to 14 years of SerDes/silicon characterization experience.
• Proven track record delivering datasheet limits or qualification thresholds.
• Strong VNA measurement experience to 50 GHz with de-embedding.
• Hands-on TX/RX SerDes characterization and BER analysis.

Responsabilités

• Lead silicon and channel characterization from measurement planning to hand-off to validation.
• Characterize TX/RX SerDes performance across process, voltage and temperature (PVT).
• Own channel measurements up to 50 GHz, including de-embedding and S-parameter analysis.
• Establish reference baselines and guard-bands by gauge, reach and frequency.
• Derive datasheet limits and maintain traceable datasets for validation and manufacturing.
