Job summary

Ubisoft is seeking a Senior Data Protection Specialist to lead data protection initiatives within the Data Governance framework at Ubisoft's Data Office in Île-de-France. You will work across business and production data teams to ensure regulatory compliance, security, and access management aligned with Ubisoft's data strategy.

You will drive change, promote data protection by default, and partner with technology teams to implement the right tools and platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a data protection expert or related role.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs across business and technology teams.
• Ability to articulate the value of Data Protection within the company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, execute and monitor Data Protection initiatives and streams of work.
• Assess business and technology needs from a Data Protection perspective and implement solutions.
• Coordinate actions with data owners to apply protection measures across assets.
• Drive change to make Data Protection the default across Ubisoft through Computation Data Governance.
• Monitor and ensure data protection across the company.
• Collaborate with technology teams to implement tools and platforms supporting Data Protection.
• Grow data teams' skills and awareness through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Track progress, report results, and continuously improve the framework.
• Stay updated on data industry trends and disseminate insights across the company.
• Maintain a network of support and expertise.
