Job summary

Ubisoft is seeking a Senior Data Protection Specialist within the Data Office to lead governance initiatives and ensure data protection and security across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive regulatory compliance and manage access controls, while promoting a privacy-by-default culture.

The role emphasizes strategic data governance, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring teams to enhance data protection capabilities across Ubisoft’s international operations.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a data or data protection expert.
• Experience in leading, coordinating and delivering cross-functional programs.
• Ability to articulate the value of Data Protection within the company.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; French a plus.
• Self-starter with ownership and a data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, execute and monitor several Data Protection initiatives and streams.
• Coordinate with business and production data teams to apply protection measures.
• Drive change to make Data Protection the default across Ubisoft.
• Propose and coordinate tools/platforms to support Data Protection.
• Grow data teams' skills and awareness through events and mentoring.
• Track progress and continuously improve the framework.
• Stay updated on data industry trends and share them across the company.
