Ubisoft Data Office is hiring a Data Governance Standards Specialist to lead governance initiatives, shape the framework, and ensure data protection and regulatory compliance across Ubisoft. You will partner with business and technical teams to implement standards and promote data governance by design, driving a culture of data trustworthiness.

Qualifications

• Confirmed experience as a data expert, business analyst or hands-on project manager.
• Experience in leading, coordinating and delivering projects with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to collaborate with individuals at all hierarchical levels.
• Thorough knowledge of company business functions.
• Ability to articulate the value of Data Governance within the company.
• Critical thinking and adaptability.
• Strong ownership, self-starter attitude and data/results orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; French would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, execute and monitor one or several Data Governance initiatives and sub-streams.
• Define, implement and improve the Data Governance Framework and operating model.
• Assess business/technology needs from a Data Governance perspective and define standards.
• Support inventory of Data Domain products and underlying data assets.
• Coordinate actions to apply governance requirements across Ubisoft.
• Promote data governance usage and drive change toward default governance.
• Ensure Data Protection and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with technology partners to define standards for Data Product design and development.
• Promote computational data governance and automation.
• Grow data teams' governance skills through mentoring and events.
• Track progress and report successes; stay updated on data industry trends.
