FCamara is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a fully remote role. You will work within a cross-functional squad, treating data as a product and shaping data that supports customer experiences and decision-making.

You will build reliable, scalable pipelines using Azure Data Factory, own the data layer, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, trusted, and actionable. English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with Azure data tools.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and data engineering frameworks.
• Strong data modelling knowledge (dimensional modelling, warehouse design).
• Experience with Azure cloud and Azure-based storage/processing.
• Financial services exposure, especially lending or savings products.
• Ability to work independently on large data projects.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.
• Experience in product squads and cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Translate business needs into data models, pipelines, and metrics.
• Design scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Azure-native tools.
• Own data layer within product area ensuring reliability.
• Collaborate to optimize data architecture and performance.
• Document data workflows and maintain version control (Git).
• Coordinate tasks using Jira and participate in squad rituals.
• Monitor and improve ETL processes for continuous improvement.
