Unlimitail, based in Paris, is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data/IT team led by the CTO. You will build and operate data pipelines from raw sources into curated layers, ensuring quality and performance for analytics and data science teams across the globe.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in data engineering, strong SQL/ELT skills, and hands-on dbt/BigQuery experience, with proficiency in French and English. The role offers a hybrid setup with a Paris office and a two-day remote policy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture and retail media environments.
• Experience building curated data layers.
• Strong SQL, ELT pipelines design, and solid software engineering practices (Git, code review, documentation).
• Comfortable working with BigQuery (modeling, optimization, cost control) and dbt.

Responsabilités

• Ingest data from APIs, files, databases, partners, internal systems.
• Develop and maintain dbt projects for curated datasets.
• Design and implement transformations Bronze to Silver (cleaned, normalized, conformed).
• Build and optimize datasets in BigQuery and manage cost dashboards.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and data contracts with stakeholders.
