Verne in Paris is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design and engineering of multiple data centre projects across France. You will implement Verne's Design & Engineering standards, manage deliverables against aggressive timelines, always within budget and on time.

As a senior member reporting to the Head of Design & Product Development, you will coordinate with architects, engineers and suppliers to ensure successful handover and uptime for operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or physical sciences.
• Fluent French.
• 5+ years hands-on design experience (engineering calculations, specs, drawing sets).
• 3+ years in a project delivery capacity (managing a schedule of technically complex deliverables).
• Excellence in bringing a team together to deliver.
• Degree-level subject matter expertise in at least one Data Centre technical discipline (e.g. electrical distribution, cooling, controls).
• Comfort directing multiple technical disciplines and managing budget with cost-effectiveness.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and engineering of multiple concurrent data centre projects across France.
• Implement Verne Design & Engineering standards and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Direct and oversee consultants, engineers and supplier teams; review deliverables for adherence to standards.
• Contribute lessons learned to Verne design & engineering program improvements.
• Host page-turn meetings; ensure progress aligns with overarching requirements.
• Handover: verify as-builts and documentation for reliable operations.
