Job summary

CloudHQ, LLC is seeking a Technical Director, Construction – EMEA to lead the technical execution of complex data center developments from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. The role requires senior ownership experience, cross‑functional leadership, and a deep understanding of hyperscale infrastructure within EMEA.

You will oversee QA/QC, SoO alignment, MEP systems integration, and commissioning readiness while coordinating with internal teams and external partners across

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in data center or large-scale infra construction.
• Experience in owner’s/developer’s or EPC technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of hyperscale data center design, construction, commissioning.
• In-depth knowledge of European building codes, electrical/mechanical standards, safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority during construction with adherence to BoD and specs.
• Lead design reviews, shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Provide constructability input during pre-construction, including sequencing and logistics.
• Oversee QA/QC frameworks across civil, structural, MEP, and controls systems.
• Drive risk mitigation and issue resolution across design, procurement, and construction.
• Coordinate with commissioning to ensure successful handover and validation.
