Job summary

Amazon Data Services France SAS is seeking a Data Centre Senior Construction Manager to lead construction projects for new data centres and capital programmes. You will oversee civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, controls and commissioning, manage contracts, budgets and schedules, and partner with contractors and internal teams.

Based on data centre sites in France, travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in construction of data center delivery or equivalent industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Construction project management and oversight of activities for new builds or capital projects, including scope, timeline, and budget.
• Direct interface with general contractors during bidding, award, and execution phases.
• Lead negotiations with general contractors and evaluate bids with detail and accuracy.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs for new or optimized data centres, and support commissioning.
• Record and report key construction metrics and support root-cause analysis of issues.
