Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Data & AI Senior Associate to work with portfolio company and PE deal teams to design and deliver data-driven AI solutions across finance and operations. You will operate at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy to drive measurable outcomes.

The role emphasizes delivering tangible impact across analytics, forecasting, and reporting, with hands-on use of Power BI, Python, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a data/AI consulting or equivalent role.
• Ability to operate at pace in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Hands-on data/analytics tooling experience: Power BI, Python, SQL.
• Working knowledge of AI/machine learning concepts and practical use cases.
• Strong understanding of core financial statements and metrics (P&L, EBITDA).
• Familiarity with finance/operational processes (R2R, O2C, P2P).
• Excellent communication of complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Deliver value creation analytics to inform PE value creation plans.
• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions to automate finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P).
• Build AI-powered forecasting, planning, and management reporting for CFOs.
