Catawiki is seeking a specialist Curator for Southeast Asian, Oceanic or Americas Art & Antiques to curate high‑quality auctions, assess authenticity, provenance and commercial relevance. You will develop seller relationships across Europe and key international markets, driving supply quality and category growth.

This Europe-based role offers a hybrid working model, opportunities to influence core auction strategies, and collaboration with in-house experts to maintain world‑class curation

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in Southeast Asian, Oceanic or Americas Art & Antiques with knowledge of authentication and provenance.
• Professional experience in art/auction environment with ability to assess attribution, quality and provenance.
• Strong research skills with familiarity of literature, archives and auction records.

Responsabilités

• Curate high-quality auctions by evaluating objects for authenticity, age, attribution, condition, provenance, market relevance and buyer appeal.
• Grow high-quality supply by identifying and developing relationships with dealers, galleries, collectors, professional sellers and collection owners across Europe and international markets.
• Identify category growth opportunities using market insight and auction data.
• Develop and test auction themes, seller initiatives and process improvements from idea to execution.
