BBVA Paris Corporate Credit Risk unit is seeking a seasoned professional to manage credit risk for French corporates, focusing on Real Estate and related sectors. You will analyze credit, monitor financials, and collaborate with bankers to support informed lending decisions.

The role requires a deep financial background, high analytical ability, and fluency in French and English; Spanish knowledge is valued. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams in Paris.

Formación

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or Engineering from a top school.
• At least 5 years of corporate credit risk management or corporate investment banking experience with a Real Estate specialization.
• Overview of Investment Banking products.
• Understanding financing and sustainability strategies and sectors of major French companies.
• Strong financial background and analytical capabilities; ability to form independent opinions on credit and risks.
• Strong organization and time management; ability to work under time pressure.
• Data management skills (Access, mining and reporting).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in French and/or English; Spanish knowledge is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Assist management in performing credit analysis and credit approval.
• Work with bankers to make informed decisions through understanding the credit, structure and profitability features of each client.
• Monitor and produce reports detailing exposures to risk.
• Yearly monitoring of client's financial performance: analysis of financial statements and sector overview.
• Identify risk drivers and evaluate stressed scenarios.
• Assess and analyze risk ratings on an ongoing basis; monitor exposure for assigned clients and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Admission of operations and FP management according to policies and guidelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of credit approval documentation.
