Job summary

Ebury Paris Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week. We are seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to take ownership of our French portfolio, based in Paris, as the dedicated credit risk point of contact for France.

You will analyze SME financials, prepare submissions to Credit Committee, develop risk models, and collaborate with front office and operations. Fluent French and English required, 4+ years in credit underwriting, and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Native in French and fluent in English (essential).
• Analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
• Experience gaining credit underwriting in financial institutions, SME/Corporate space (min 4 years).
• Clear, structured communication style with ability to explain complex concepts.
• Experience dealing directly with clients and resolving issues.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Understanding of FX markets and vanilla products.
• Proficient in Excel in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Head of Credit Risk and report on demand.
• Perform detailed credit analysis of prospects and clients for trade finance and currency trading products.
• Present and defend analysis at credit committee meetings with senior management.
• Collaborate with front office and operations to ensure a smooth client experience.
• Monitor an existing portfolio of clients and manage your own pipeline to meet SLAs.
• Liaise with analysts and managers across geographies to share insights.
