Kion Group AG is seeking a Controls Hardware Engineer in Bussy Saint-Georges, France. You will translate design inputs into control system designs, produce electrical layouts, and ensure CE compliance for machinery as part of an industrial automation team.

The role involves procuring panels and liaising with suppliers, collaborating with project sales and engineers, and supporting site-based work across Northern Europe, with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Controls Hardware Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer or similar role.
• Essential: HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
• Desirable: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in industrial automation and use of standard electrical drawings and manuals.

Responsabilités

• Interpret design input information to produce control system designs.
• Produce electrical layout and schematic drawings using CAD tools.
• Procure electrical control panels and liaise with suppliers on technical matters.
• Coordinate with installation supervisors and subcontractors during project execution.
• Ensure CE compliance and adhere to Machinery Directive requirements.
