Exyte is seeking a Manager I&C to lead design and delivery of instrumentation, control, automation, and building management solutions for complex engineering projects in France and internationally. You will act as a technical authority supporting teams through concept to close-out.

You will collaborate with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high-quality solutions, review technical specifications, and guide bid evaluations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automation Engineering or related discipline.
• Several years of I&C engineering experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience leading I&C activities across projects.
• Fluent in French and English; willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of Instrumentation & Control systems for complex projects.
• Define and review automation architectures, control strategies, and BMS.
• Analyze customer requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and P&IDs.
• Support technical concepts, cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Review and optimize proposals from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Lead design reviews and ensure standards compliance.
• Manage external engineering partners and outsourced design.
• Supervise production of drawings and docs.
• Support project execution through reviews, supervision, commissioning and site support.
• Troubleshoot during execution and warranty.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
• Promote engineering best practices.
