KEBA AG seeks an automation-focused engineer to engage with customers across Europe, analyze requirements, and develop concepts for industrial applications. You will implement and commission fieldbus-based solutions, tune control loops, and provide on-site or remote support as needed.

Key duties include pre-sales participation, collaborating with sales teams, and managing supplier relationships. Travel within France and Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automation, mechatronics and industrial computing technologies.
• Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites in France and across Europe.
• Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming principles and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Fieldbus protocols: EtherCAT, Profinet & Profidrive, Ethernet/IP.
• Basic understanding of industrial mechanics.
• Strong technical profile with excellent communication skills interacting with customers and suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Participating in pre-sales activities by proposing suitable solutions.
• Analyzing customer requirements and developing concepts based on the environment.
• Acting as primary contact for customers and sales team during development.
• Developing and commissioning applications.
• Managing relationships with European suppliers and headquarter.
• Conducting technology watch and market monitoring.
• Tuning control loops (current, speed, position).
• Commissioning applications using fieldbus communications (EtherCAT, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
• Providing remote or on-site customer support.
