Alpha Financial Markets Consulting (Alpha) in Paris seeks consultants with 3+ years in consulting or financial services to join the Insurance practice. You will work on finance transformation projects, IFRS and investment accounting, and collaborate with senior leaders.

The role offers a base salary of 55K with a transparent profit-sharing scheme, 25 days holiday, health and life insurance, and training opportunities including CFA/CAIA/AMF, with international travel.

Qualifications

• You have 3+ years of experience in a consulting or audit/financial services firm.
• You have knowledge on Finance, Accounting (IFRS at least) and Investment Accounting.
• You are passionate about the Insurance sector and international projects.
• You enjoy working in a team and mentoring junior members.
• You are proactive with strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• You speak English and French at a C1+ level (speaking and written).
• Excellent command of the Office pack is necessary.
• Right to work in France and ability to be based in Paris.

Responsabilités

• Carry out consulting missions for Insurance clients in Paris and manage projects for major clients.
• Contribute to Finance Transformation initiatives, including operating model changes and tool implementations.

The missions and environment we offer

Based in Paris (international travels are frequent), you will carry out consulting missions or manage projects for prestigious clients, leaders of the Insurance market in its multiple components: Life insurers, Non-Life insurers, bank insurers, reinsurers, brokers, mutuals, and other financial institutions.

The team supports their client around strategy consulting, business transformation, actuarial services and finance.

The team is looking for consultants in its Finance Transformation business unit, relating to the following majors:

• Support for Financial Departments in the transformation of their Operating Model (evolution of organizations, processes, tools)
• Investment accounting and support along tools implementations such as Blackrock Solutions (Aladdin and eFront), SimCorp Dimension, SAP, Clearwater Analytic, etc.
• Accounting, consolidation in multi-GAAP environments (IFRS, local GAAP, …)
• Treasury and cash management
• Normative compliance and risks
• Financial Steering and FP&A
• ESG and durable finance

We are very attentive to the balance of life and the animation of the office:

Alpha FMC usually organizes two annual events which bring together Insurance France employees.

Monthly events are organized for the Paris firm and the Insurance team meets regularly.

The profile we are looking for:

• You have experience (+3 years) within a consulting or audit/financial services firm, within a financial institution or with an Insurance player
• You have recognized knowledge on the following subjects: Finance, Accounting (IFRS at least) and Investment Accounting
• You are passionate, you want to invest in the Insurance sector and can be interested by international projects
• You enjoy working in a team and demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial spirit
• You are able to oversee and mentor junior members of the team
• You are proactive and have a very good analytical and synthesis spirit and a very strong ability to manage priorities
• You speak English and French at a C1+ level (speaking and written)
• Excellent command of the Office pack is necessary
• Right to work in France and ability to be based in Paris

Compensation and Benefits
We have a very attractive remuneration policy and you are interested in the profits from the moment you join the firm. The progression of your career and your remuneration is transparent and linked solely to your performance.

• Base entry salary for this position is 55K
• Variable remuneration: Alpha pays its employees a significant proportion of its profits in the form of profit-sharing (intéressement) and/or cash in accordance with Alpha's discretionary profit-sharing scheme.
• 25 days holiday per year
• Health insurance (free for the employee for the individual option + free for children) and life insurance
