Job summary

Santen is seeking a Compliance Business Partner to promote ethical practices and ensure regulatory adherence across France and Benelux. Based in France, you will serve as the main compliance contact for affiliates and functions, guiding risk management and integrity initiatives with stakeholders across EMEA.

You will oversee HCP interactions, ABAC and ABAC-related policies, and drive training, audits and transparency reporting while aligning with global and local standards.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Compliance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance programs and strategies.
• Strong knowledge of European and international pharmaceutical regulations (EFPIA, IFPMA).
• Understanding of compliance requirements related to HCPs, healthcare organisations and third parties.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Life Sciences or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Compliance certification is an advantage.
• Fluent in French and English; additional regional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance guidance and risk management support to France and Benelux.
• Review and approve business interactions, engagements and contracts (HCP‑related).
• Advise stakeholders on compliance risks and mitigations.
• Promote ethics and integrity through awareness and training.
• Conduct on-site reviews, document monitoring and compliance assessments.
• Coordinate transparency reporting and publication of Transfers of Value (TOVs).
• Support local Compliance Committees and collaborate with affiliates.
• Apply global and local compliance policies and tools, provide feedback for improvement.
• Support EMEA compliance initiatives and annual compliance plans.
• Monitor regulatory developments to ensure ongoing compliance.
