Technip Energies is seeking a Senior Commissioning & Start Up Manager to join the commissioning team in the Nanterre/La Défense area, France. The role leads safe execution, strategy development, team building, and subcontracting for home office and on-site work.

We expect 10–15 years in oil & gas, a Process Engineering degree, and strong leadership to drive project milestones from proposal through client handover while maintaining HSSE compliance.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of onshore/offshore oil & gas experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Process Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage safe execution of Commissioning and Start-up scope (home office prep and site execution) per HSSE rules.
• Develop and manage PC&C&SU strategy, schedule, budget and risk registers through proposal to Client handover/Provisional Acceptance.
• Build the manning, organization charts and subcontracting strategy for home office and site execution.
• Build and recruit the team: identify and mobilize commissioning and operations personnel; interviews and subcontractor selection.
• Define and customize PTW system to ensure safe control during Commissioning and Start-up (incl. SIMOPS, LOTO, override management).
• Coordinate write-ups and approvals for all PC&C&SU deliverables (procedures, drawings, method statements, studies).
• Ensure PC&C&SU requirements are considered by engineering, Process, procurement, Subcontract and contract teams.
• Support and provide input to Contracts, Schedule and Cost teams regarding PC&C&SU budget and costs.
• Support subcontracting team to prepare SOWs and execute commissioning activities on site.
• Execute the scope with safety, planning and budget in mind.
• Assist completion team with database population, ITR definition and inspections coordination with client.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports; close-out reports with construction teams.
