Job summary

Technip Energies is seeking a Senior Commissioning & Start Up Manager to join the Commissioning team in Nanterre/La Défense. You will report to the Head of Commissioning and lead the execution of home office and site activities in line with HSSE rules.

The role requires proven onshore oil & gas or power generation commissioning/start-up expertise, strong leadership and a solid technical qualification, with English fluency and French a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous onshore oil & gas or power-plant commissioning/start-up experience.
• Proven ability to lead commissioning teams and manage schedules and budgets.
• Must hold a recognized technical qualification for the position.
• Fluent English; French a plus.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of the scope of work (home office and site) in respect of HSSE rules.
• Develop and manage PC&C&SU schedule, budget and risk registers.
• Build the manning and organization required to execute the scope of work (home office and site).
• Build the team: identify and mobilise the commissioning and operations team.
• Define PTW system and ensure efficient control (including LOTO, BPO).
• Develop and manage write-ups, reviews and approvals for PC&C&SU deliverables.
• Ensure PC&C&SU requirements are considered by engineering, process, procurement and contracts.
• Support and input to contract, schedule and cost teams re PC&C&SU scope.
• Support subcontracting team to prepare and execute subcontracted activities on site.
• Execute the scope of work within defined planning and budget.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Prepare close-out report for PC&C section with construction team.
• Provide regular feedback during site execution to operating center PC&C department.

About the mission we offer you:

• Manage execution of the scope of work (Home office and site) in respect of Project HSSE rules
• Develop and Manage PC&C&SU schedule, Budget and Risk registers.
• Build the manning and organization require to execute the scope of work (Home office and Site)

• Develop and manage write up, review and approval by Company for all PC&C&SU deliverables (Systemization drawings, PCOM method statements, COM and Start-up procedures, technical studies)
• Develop and ensure that PC&C&SU requirements are considered by engineering, Process, procurement and contract.
• Support and provide input to Contract, schedule and cost team with regards to PC&C&SU scope.
• Support and provide input to subcontracting team in order to prepare and execute subcontracted activities and assistance required on site.
• Execute the scope of work in respect of the planning and budget defined
• Prepares weekly and monthly progress reports of activities
• Prepare with construction team the close out report for PC&C section
• Regular feedback during site execution to operating center PC&C department

• Practical-minded with excellent organization/ leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Must have previous experience on Onshore Oil & Gas Industry or Power generation plant in a similar position and segment.
• Must have a recognized technical qualification for the Position.
• Have confirmed experience and knowledge to carry out efficiently and safely commissioning, start-up and interim operations activities.
• Mandatory English, French a nice-to-have.
