Coins is seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer to lead security design and hardening of cloud environments, with a strong AWS focus. You will drive vulnerability remediation, monitoring, and incident response across cross‑functional teams, shaping security posture and risk reporting.

The role requires hands-on scripting and automation, plus experience with CSPM/CNAPP tools and recognized security frameworks. Remote work arrangements may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud security or information security, including 3+ years on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services and security best practices.
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmark, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK for Cloud.
• Proven experience driving remediation across teams.
• Experience with CSPM/CNAPP tools (e.g., Wiz, Prisma Cloud, AWS Security Hub).
• Scripting/automation skills (Python, Terraform, CloudFormation) are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead security architecture assessment and hardening for cloud platforms (primarily AWS).
• Monitor cloud security posture; identify vulnerabilities and risks; assess impact.
• Own vulnerability remediation lifecycle end-to-end; define plans and priorities.
• Build and improve cloud security monitoring, alerts, and automation.
• Participate in incident response and perform root-cause analyses.
• Produce security assessment reports and communicate cloud risk to management.
