ixolabs.ai is seeking a seasoned scientific manuscript expert to review clinical manuscripts for evidentiary accuracy and publication ethics. You will reconcile claims with study reports and tables, and explain revisions using standard authorship and reporting guidelines.

The role is remote, paid, with flexible task briefs and schedules agreed with IXO before starting. Prior experience with ICMJE, GPP3/GPP2022, and CONSORT is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Five+ years writing scientific publications with lead author responsibility.
• Knowledge of ICMJE, GPP3/GPP2022 and CONSORT reporting standards.
• Ability to interpret statistical plans, tables and figures.
• Provide precise editorial feedback on manuscripts.
• Experience across trial phases; oncology, immunology or rare diseases.

Review clinical manuscripts and publication materials for evidentiary accuracy, reporting quality and publication ethics. Reconcile claims with study reports and tables, assess the presentation of findings and explain revisions using relevant authorship and reporting standards.

Professional background

Preferred contributors have five or more years writing scientific publications and lead responsibility for peer-reviewed biomedical manuscripts. Know ICMJE, GPP3/GPP2022 and CONSORT, journal processes and copyright requirements. You should interpret statistical plans and tables/figures/listings, develop accurate scientific narratives and provide specific editorial feedback. Relevant advanced clinical or life-science study, or comparable authorship depth, is valued. Experience across trial phases and therapeutic areas helps, especially oncology, immunology or rare diseases.

Working arrangements

This is remote, paid IXO expert work. Agree the specific task brief, permitted materials, outputs and working schedule with IXO before starting. Any commitment or duration described in a practice profile is an indicative planning requirement for that route, subject to that agreement.

Pay

$55 $85/hr USD. The applicable rate is agreed for the work and professional track before you begin.
