Thomas & Hutton is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead large-scale, multi-phase site development projects for mission-critical clients. You will prepare construction drawings, guide project teams, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 6+ years' experience, and strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, with a PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
• 6+ years of experience in civil engineering design
• Experience producing site design plans for large-scale, multi-phase projects
• Strong understanding of civil site development including grading and utility infrastructure
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing focus
• Strong leadership abilities and experience working within project teams
• Understanding of business metrics for project success
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Responsabilités

• Manage large-scale, multi-phase civil site development projects for mission critical clients
• Prepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for site grading, water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure
• Lead project teams to deliver design solutions that meet scope, schedule, and quality objectives
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance and project updates
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design development and project execution
• Monitor project performance including scope, schedule, and budget
• Support proposal development and contribute to project planning efforts
