FEI is seeking a Civil Senior Project Manager (PE) to lead land development projects from concept through construction in North Carolina. You will serve as Engineer-of-Record, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain strong client relationships while coordinating with municipalities and regulatory agencies.

The role requires an active NC PE license, ABET-accredited civil engineering degree, 10+ years in land development, and 3+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina PE license is required.
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years in land development engineering.
• 3+ years leading projects or managing people.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Clear communicator and confident leader.
• Valid NC driver's license.
• Experience with client-facing consulting is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead land development projects as Engineer-of-Record and Project Manager.
• Own project outcomes: quality, timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and technical staff.
• Design and review site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, erosion control, subdivisions).
• Design water, sewer, and stormwater systems; manage stormwater and final plats.
• Coordinate permitting with local and state agencies.
• Represent projects in meetings with boards, agencies, and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Lead land development projects as Engineer-of-Record and Project Manager
• Take responsibility for project outcomes: quality, timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
• Guide and mentor Assistant Project Managers and technical staff
• Design and review site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including: Grading, erosion control, and subdivisions

What You Bring
