Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) is a multi-discipline engineering firm serving public and private clients. We seek a Project Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead complex projects with a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, a B.S. in Civil Engineering, and proven skills in client relations, design leadership, and project delivery. Evening meetings and PA project clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license is required.

• Prior land development experience required.

Responsabilités

• Design subdivisions and land development plans.
• Coordinate zoning and approvals processes.
• Perform stormwater management planning.
• Prepare site designs, grading, and E&S control plans.
• Develop site utilities and analyze hydraulic calculations.

Isett provides a full range of engineering and consulting services, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, geotechnical, and municipal engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, code enforcement, plan review, construction management, construction materials testing, and grant writing services to clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Civil Engineer with land development experience to lead projects for clients in the public and private sectors. Because our employees are usually involved in several projects at one time, involving numerous team members (such as project manager, engineer, and CAD technician/designer), exceptional communications skills and the ability to work well with others is essential.

Our ideal candidate will be a Professional (Civil) Engineer with at least five years' experience in the design and management of land development projects. They should have experience in a project management role including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete land development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design of subdivisions and land development
• Zoning and approvals process
• Stormwater management
• Site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans
• Site utilities
• PennDOT/DEP permitting
• Hydraulic calculations
• Cost estimating
• Preparing project proposals and managing contracts, reports, and invoicing
• Hiring/mentoring/managing junior engineers and designers

Requirements:

• B.S. Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer license
• Prior land development experience required
• Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills
• Prior project and client management experience
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to attend evening meetings
• Ability to obtain clearances (for PA school projects)
