Odaseva, a SaaS company delivering secure data management for Salesforce environments, seeks a senior data engineer to design and optimize large-scale data pipelines.

You will work with Databricks, Snowflake and cloud services to build lakehouse architectures, enforce security-by-design, and drive cost efficiency. Based in Paris with a hybrid work setup, this is a full-time permanent role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or backend data platforms
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and operating big data pipelines
• Hands-on engineer background with proven track record handling large volumes of data
• Deep knowledge of at least one data lake platform among Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift
• Strong expertise in Apache Spark and lakehouse table formats Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg
• Strong Python or Java and SQL skills, cloud infrastructure (AWS S3, Athena, Glue)
• Equivalent engineering school degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics
• Fluent in English and French with clear communication and collaborative skills

Responsabilités

• Data Pipeline Development & Operations: Design, build, monitor Spark pipelines for large-volume data lake ingestion
• Platform & Cost Optimization: Improve performance, reliability, and cost of pipelines and infra
• Databricks, Snowflake & Cloud Engineering: Leverage Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift with AWS services
• Lakehouse Architecture: Manage Delta Lake and/or Apache Iceberg tables
• Secure Data Management: Apply security-by-design, governance, and compliance across storage and compute
