Job summary

Soda Data Nv is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own backend services powering Soda Cloud. You will design and ship Java-based services, manage AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure, and drive scalability for billions of datasets. This is a product-engineering role with AI coding agents in the loop.

You'll collaborate directly with PMs and customers, shaping solutions and delivering end-to-end features with fast iteration and strong ownership. Fully remote (EU-based) with equity benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building backend software at a product company.
• Strong Java skills: APIs, async processing, concurrency, performance tuning.
• Solid SQL in a backend context with MySQL/ClickHouse or similar.
• Experience on Kubernetes and AWS in production.
• CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Observability mindset with metrics, logs, tracing, and testing.
• Ability to ship production code with AI coding agents in the loop.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust backend services and APIs in Java for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Ship features end-to-end with product and customers; contribute ideas.
• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of services to production on AWS/Kubernetes.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and observability.
• Improve agentic development tooling and safe production guardrails.
• Drive architectural decisions from service design to platform evolution.
