Scrambly is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the team building the core systems behind our adtech platform. You will work across two key areas: user-facing product systems and internal tooling powering operations.

Expect a role focused on robust, high-performance code and bridging product requirements with technical reality in a modern tech stack. Your focus will be on writing scalable Node.js services, improving architecture, and collaborating with Product, Design and QA to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a backend focus.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS.
• Excellent system design skills and understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure acceptable) and containerization (Docker).
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and message queues.
• Experience with React for internal tools is a plus.

• Architecture & Development: design, build, and maintain scalable Node.js RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Quality & Mentorship: promote clean, testable code and mentor engineers through reviews.
• Infrastructure & Performance: monitor reliability, optimize CI/CD, and partner with DevOps.
