Job summary

At Atolls, we are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design and evolve our backend platform in Paris or remote from France. You will develop with TypeScript, NestJS/Node.js, and collaborate across product and design to deliver scalable features for our fulfilment services.

You will own robust REST APIs, explore microservices, and contribute to security and performance. This role offers a hybrid-friendly setup, strong learning budget, and vibrant global/local team events.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and messaging like SQS/SNS.
• Experience with REST API, EDA and microservice architectures.
• Good communication in English and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web apps using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS.
• Collaborate with frontend, design, product to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and stay updated on trends.
• Document code and processes; follow security best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
