Jobgether partners with a mature B2B workflow automation product and seeks a Senior Back-end Product Engineer (PHP, Symfony) based in France. You will own backend features end-to-end, design scalable services, and drive production deployments with a strong focus on API design, testing, and reliability.

You will work across backend, frontend, mobile, and support teams, applying AI-driven tooling to development, testing, and documentation while improving release processes and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience including ownership of complex features
• Proficiency in PHP and Symfony; strong API design and DDD knowledge
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and serverless architectures
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, observability
• JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js frameworks (ExpressJS or NestJS) a plus
• Demonstrated use of AI in software development and ability to explain usage
• Knowledge of application security and OWASP principles; ISO 27001, SOC 2 a plus
• Strong product mindset and autonomous delivery
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams

Responsabilités

• Own backend features end‑to‑end from design to production release
• Design scalable, reliable backend services, APIs, and data models
• Decompose work, make architectural decisions, present solutions
• Refactor and expand test coverage; improve code quality
• Investigate issues using data, logs, and production insights
• Incorporate AI tools into development, improve AI practices
• Improve workflows with automation, observability, release processes
• Participate in on‑call rotations and incident resolution
• Coordinate releases and deployments
• Collaborate across Backend, Frontend, iOS, Android, Support teams
