Jobgether is seeking a Senior Back-end Engineer (PHP/Node.js) based in France. You will design and deliver scalable back-end services for commerce at scale, owning initiatives from design to deployment.

You will work with product managers and cross-functional teams in a fully remote, international environment across EMEA, with flexible hours and strong emphasis on code quality, testing, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional back-end development experience.
• Proficiency in PHP or Node.js and willingness to develop the other.
• Experience with high-load, distributed systems and DDD/CQRS.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles: SOLID, TDD, CI/CD, Agile, automated testing.
• Experience with PHP frameworks and databases/infrastructure listed in tools.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable back-end software.
• Support high-load and distributed environments.
• Own technical initiatives from design to execution.
• Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Apply DDD, CQRS, and distributed patterns for maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and testing; pair programming.
